How to Use YourBanner

01 Compatibility

YourBanner is designed for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs running a 64-bit version of Windows. A compatible Windows PC with one or more connected displays is required to use YourBanner.

For the best compatibility and reliability, we recommend keeping Windows up to date.

No separate installation of any component is required.

⚠️YourBanner is a Windows PC application. It does not run directly on Smart TVs, Android devices, iPhones, iPads, ChromeOS, etc.

02 Buy a License and Download

YourBanner Pro is not yet available for purchase. We are finalizing the payment and licence activation process. The steps below describe how purchasing and activation will work once Pro becomes available. You can already download and try YourBanner Free.

For YourBanner Pro only, the free version does not require a license.

1. Purchase YourBanner Pro

Click Download Pro to access the Paddle payment page. Complete your purchase and provide your email address. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a download link or be able to download the installer directly.

2. Receive your validation code

Once your purchase is confirmed, we will send you an email containing your activation code. Follow the instructions in that email to install YourBanner Pro.

3. Activate YourBanner Pro

When you launch YourBanner Pro for the first time, the application will connect to our server to activate your license. Enter the validation code received by email when prompted. YourBanner will send the hardware information required to associate your license with your PC. Your license file will then be delivered automatically and saved on your computer.

4. Restart YourBanner

Once your license file has been received, restart YourBanner Pro to complete activation and start using the application.

03 Install for One or Multiple Users

YourBanner Pro can be used by multiple staff members on the same Windows PC. You can activate it separately for each Windows user account, or copy the YourBanner data folder from an already configured account to another account. Make sure you're using the correct path: %LocalAppData%\YourBanner.

Access management: YourBanner does not include its own user access controls. Anyone who can access and launch the application can run it. Restricting access to specific staff members is the responsibility of the Windows administrator, using the access controls available in Windows.

Choose the method that best suits your business and staff organization.

04 Configure YourBanner Pro

Some configuration options are available only in YourBanner Pro and are marked accordingly in this guide.

1. Main message

Enter the text you want to display in your banner.

2. Message Line 2

Enter the text you want to display on the second line of your banner.

3. Line 3

Enter the text you want to display on the third line of your banner.

4. Display duration

“Not available in the Free version”

Set how long each message is displayed. Enter a value between 1 and 3,600 seconds.

5. Masking duration

“Not available in the Free version”

Set how long the banner remains hidden between messages. Enter a value between 1 and 3,600 seconds.

6. Logo

Use the Browse button to select a PNG logo or image from your computer. PNG is recommended because it supports transparency, allowing the content behind the logo to remain visible.

Other image formats, such as JPG, can be loaded by entering the full file path manually, but their opaque background will hide the content behind the image.

The appropriate size depends on your screen resolution, but 400 × 400 pixels is a good starting point.

Use the No Image button if you do not want to display a logo or image.

7. Banner color

Choose your banner color from the four available options: red, green, blue or yellow.

8. Automatic startup

“Not available in the Free version”

When automatic startup is disabled, launching YourBanner opens the configuration window.

When automatic startup is enabled, YourBanner starts automatically with Windows and displays the banner using the previously saved configuration. To change the settings, right-click the YourBanner icon in the system tray and select Settings.

05 Run YourBanner

YourBanner Free

Double-click the downloaded executable file to launch YourBanner. The configuration window will open, allowing you to set up your banner.

YourBanner Pro

Launch YourBanner Pro using the desktop shortcut created during installation. If automatic startup is enabled, YourBanner Pro will launch automatically with Windows and display the banner using your saved configuration. To modify your banner or change its configuration, open the configuration window using the Settings option in the system tray menu.
